Sometimes, it can happen that the Microphone Boost option is not available. The audio features usually depend on the drivers installed or the chipset in your computer. When the boost option is not available, there is another option you can try.
First, you can change the port with which you were connecting the microphone. Try a different port. Next, you can run the Recording Audio troubleshooter. Third, you may take a look at the option of updating the drivers. The update drivers part includes updating sound, microphone and audio drivers. This is most likely going to be very useful. I cannot be heard by others in the Skype calls
When you are using Skype or any such application for voice or video calling in your computer, the first and foremost thing to do is to ensure that your microphone or headset is the application’s default recording device. If it is not, or if you have not checked it yet, this is what you should follow.
If Skype is not open already, choose Skype from your windows to open it. In the top right corner of Skype application, you will find the Contacts List.
